Because I’m Happy…

A weekly message to strengthen your CORE and develop your resolve.

Want a healthier way to relate to food?

Well, look no further than in the mirror. A healthy relationship with food is rooted in a healthy relationship with your self. It’s a total CORE thing.

The best way to strengthen your sense of self is with small daily gestures of kindness, respect, trust and honesty. Small behaviors everyday are more effective in producing the “feel good about me” feelings than the once in a while big treat behaviors.

Being good to your self is food for your soul. It fills you up in a very satisfying way.

Here are my top 4 small behavior ways to be good to my CORE

1. Disconnect and Reconnect

goodbye smart phone, hello quiet time!

2. Listen to my intuition
that small still voice is the powerhouse of all things me it’s the
       ultimate honoring of self.
3.  Do something creative

it’s amazing how lost I get when I am quilting (it’s like a mini vacation).

4.  Listen to music that speaks to your soul

I’m currently loving “Happy” by Pharrell Williams

Feel good about you. Feel good about food and eating…..How will you nurture your CORE today?
